Entry fee- The entry fee this year is $500 per school, and one dozen baseballs per team you bring. This is simply to help defray the cost of the umpires for the event. Please make checks payable to Hoover High School Baseball. Either myself or another member of the HHS Baseball Staff or Dugout Club will meet you for your first game to get your baseballs and payment. If you prefer to mail payment ahead of time please send it to: Hoover High School Baseball; Hoover, AL 35244 Perfect Game Registration- The Varsity portion of the Buc Classic will be covered and scouted by Perfect Game Baseball. This means the entire event will be covered on Diamondkast, with scouting information taken on your players and shared nationwide online and on social media. This does mean we will need each team to register on perfectgame.com and enter in their rosters. Charles Lane from Perfect Game will be following up with an email regarding all of this information. Lodging- we have several great hotels located close to the High School and the Hoover Met Complex. If you have any needs for recommendations please do not hesitate to call or email me and I will help you. All local hotels usually guarantee an affordable block rate for our tournament Batting Practice- Cages are provided at the Met and at Hoover High School. Turfs or tennis shoes only in the cages. No SUNFLOWER SEEDS OR GUM ON THE TURF FIELDS OR IN THE DUGOUTS. Please plan on using your own baseballs for BP. Footwear- 5 of the 7 fields for the tournament are now artificial turf. Molded cleats or turf shoes are the only acceptable footwear at the Met Turf fields and at Hoover High School Field 1. Spikes are allowed on the grass fields (Met field 1 and HHS Field 2).
